Terms of service
Who may use Web Accountability. You must be at least 18 years old and enrolling only devices that you alone use. Enrolling a device used by someone who has not agreed to be monitored is a violation of these terms.
What the service does. Web Accountability resolves DNS lookups for devices you enroll, records the names of the sites and services those devices contact, categorizes them, and shares that history with the accountability group and anchor you choose. It blocks categories you select. It does not inspect page contents and does not carry your traffic.
No enforcement, no guarantees. The service can be turned off by changing a setting. It is designed to make that visible, not to prevent it. Categorization is imperfect; some sites will be missed and some will be flagged wrongly. Web Accountability is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or pastoral care.
Your group. Members of your group and your anchor can see what the agreement you signed says they can see. You can leave at any time; leaving is visible to them.
Billing. A subscription is required only to have your own devices monitored. Being in a group and watching another member's history is free, and so is being an anchor. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancel any time from the billing page. If a payment fails, monitoring continues for a grace period and then pauses; your devices keep resolving normally.
Termination. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@webaccountability.com. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
